I've heard phrases like these many times: "I don't have time." "I don't know how to start." "That's only for people who have money." "If I struggle to make ends meet, how can I think about investing?" These and other excuses prevent many people from ever working on fundamental concepts like saving, investing, creating passive income, or preparing for retirement. The reality is that financial literacy remains one of the major shortcomings of our education system. We aren't taught how to manage money.
