I've heard phrases like these many times:

These and other excuses prevent many people from ever working on fundamental concepts like saving, investing, creating passive income, or preparing for retirement.

The reality is that financial literacy remains one of the major shortcomings of our education system. We aren't taught how to manage money. We only hear repeated how hard it is to earn it, how easy it is to lose it, and how difficult it is to make ends meet.

After more than 20 years working in financial consulting and advising financial institutions as well as national and international companies, I decided to apply that knowledge to my own personal finances.
